I received this letter of recommendation because I chose to volunteer at the kidney center. I was interested in learning a practical approach on nursing and some of the duties nurses were responsible for. I was considering going to school to become a registered nurse. I enjoyed this experience immensely and it helped me decide that anything in the medical industry was not my passion.

It was an excellent way to translate my military experience into the civilian life. Many things in the military are extremely valuable in learning what it is like to work.
